Friday we recieved our referral for a 25 month old little boy!!!! He is ADORABLE!!!! We can't post any pictures or post his name for legal reasons but trust me he is perfect!!!! We also found out that he should be home for Christmas!!! What an awesome God we have and He has blessed us!!!! For the blog will will call our baby "Z". We still will be traveling to Ethiopia 2 times. We now will be waiting on updates and our court date. we will let everyone know when we get either one. I can't believe that this is all flying by and i hope it continues to so our little man will be with us forever very soon!!! We also want to thank everyone for all the prayers and support; it has made us feel so loved!!! Thank you! :)
Woohoo! This is one of the best days of your lives. We still remember the exact dates we got the call for each of the kids. It's amazing how you bond with the picture of your child. We will pray for a quick and smooth process. There are days that drag and days that are milestones. We celebrated those milestones with a treat. Sometimes it was dinner out or ice cream with some friends. Feel free to call us to celebrate with you. :) Take care and God bless the three of you.
ReplyDeleteThat is SOOOOO exciting! Congrats! Hope everything goes smoothly. My husband and I have also been trying for a long time with no luck. Discouragement has definitely hit me, but I'm trying to stay positive and look to God for answers. We were actually suppose to get a baby back in May. We would've been bringing him home the weekend of Mother's Day, but the Sunday before the mom changed her mind and wanted to keep him. I still picture him with us all the time. He was 7 months at the time. But we are still hoping for another one to come along and have also just found out that Hayden's cousin works in the Utah Foster Care system. So all we can do at this time is pray. Anyways, I can't wait to see pictures of your new son. Such a blessing!
